Beer Run is a HotDog Hans game. You can play without signing up.
When you post a score, we store your username, email, score and run information. Only your username, best score and rank appear on the public leaderboard. Your email is stored privately for HotDog Hans.
Posting a score does not subscribe you to marketing emails. The optional “Join the email list” link opens a HotDog Hans signup form on Shopify. If you subscribe there, Shopify stores your subscriber record with a Beer Run source label. Your score posts separately, even if you do not subscribe.
This browser stores a random player credential locally and in a secure authentication cookie so you can post another run under the same username. Keep it private. If this browser forgets you, enter your original username and email when posting. This temporary test uses that match without email verification: anyone who knows both details could post as you. Recovery does not change your email or marketing choice. Additional browser credentials are stored as hashes and expire after one year.
We replay control timing on the server to check scores. Run validation records expire after two days. Published scores and player records remain until removed. Account corrections may retain original records privately for recovery. Request removal through HotDog Hans.
Unsubmitted run data may remain on this device so you can retry a lost connection. Basic request limits help prevent spam. No advertising or third-party analytics are added by the game.
